John Ruggieri's award-winning work is included in collections internationally and has been shown in galleries and museums throughout the United States since 1991. John's art has been exhibited at the Boston Center for the Arts, Danforth Museum of Art, Texas Fine Arts Association, LFL Gallery in New York, Samson Projects, Bernard Toale Gallery, Schoolhouse Gallery, among others.

His work has been included in museum and gallery exhibitions by curators such as Neal Benezra, Zach Feur, Camilo Alvarez, Annette Lemieux, Michael Carroll, James Hull, TJ Norris, and Helen Shlein. In 1997 he received the Jean and Kalil Gibran Award for Excellence in Art from the Copley Society in Boston, juried by Carl Belz, Director of the Rose Art Museum.
