Solo Exhibition in Hudson, NY, August 9-October 4 The centerpiece of this large-scale solo exhibition is the installation of the Morning After photographic series spanning 21 feet in width. These eight images were shot outdoors at sunrise early one summer morning within minutes of each other and tell a visual story from dreamy faint tones of melon, lemon, peach, creamy pink to eyes-wide-open magenta, tomato red, and lush grass green. They are carefully placed alongside empty spaces on a grid and allude to multiple metaphors and narratives and filmic sequence. The hard edges of each organic image and the implied grid create a structure that it is intimated not overtly defined. |
